THE ROLE
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven history of effective teaching and a commitment to student success. While prior experience with the IB Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, or Diploma Programme is preferred, exceptional educators from any curriculum background are encouraged to apply. It is essential to align with the IB philosophy and uphold the values of the Learner Profile. A genuine enthusiasm for working within a non-selective, culturally diverse community is also a significant requirement. Additionally, the candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as a Bachelor of Arabic Language and Literature, a B.Ed, or equivalent
- A minimum of three years of experience teaching Arabic A and/or B in a Primary or Secondary School setting
- Availability starting August 2026
- The experience, character, and educational philosophy necessary to advance the educational agenda at this prestigious GEMS World School, serving students from over 100 countries
