Prep Science Teacher

Operating in close partnership with Harrow School in London, Harrow Bangkok is part of a network of schools in the UK and Asia that share a common ethos and uphold high standards.

Set within a sprawling 35-acre garden campus in one of the world's most vibrant and diverse cities, Harrow Bangkok has established itself as a respected institution. Currently, it serves around 1,800 students, aged 18 months to 18 years, including boarders from Year 4 onward.

Our graduates consistently achieve exceptional examination results and gain admission to prestigious universities around the globe, thanks to a progressive and rigorous academic curriculum that is complemented by a strong emphasis on holistic development.

We are in search of exceptional teachers to commence positions in August 2025. Successful candidates will be offered renewable contracts for two years, with attractive employment terms and excellent working conditions.

Experience and Qualifications:
• A relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or another teaching qualification that provides QTS
• A minimum of three years of teaching experience
• The capability to teach a Science subject up to IGCSE is advantageous but not mandatory
• A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to the comprehensive education of children
• A high degree of professionalism and a focus on children's well-being
• Recent and ongoing involvement in extracurricular activities
• Respect for all members of the school community, regardless of their position, gender, age, or ethnicity
• Prior experience with students for whom English is not their first language
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to work
• Acceptable police checks (or equivalent) from the applicant's country of origin and any other countries of employment, with no concerns regarding suitability to work with children
• Positive references from current and past employers, confirmed through personal phone calls to each referee
