Your opportunity
Join us in something extraordinary! We are seeking a creative and passionate Primary Music Teacher to join our skilled team in 2025. This is your chance to create a lasting influence and inspire the upcoming generation of musicians.
Starting on 20 January 2025, this is a part-time position. Relocation assistance is offered.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the Australian Curriculum and effective pedagogical practices in music.
Additionally, the successful applicant will be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs upheld by Freshwater Christian College and will seek a role that allows them to use their talents and skills to positively impact our students and the broader College community.
Essential qualifications and requirements
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in teaching.
2. Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (or the ability to obtain it).
3. A commitment to the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College.
4. Capacity to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith.
5. Willingness to adhere to College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
6. Ability to collaborate effectively with all members of the College community.
