Position Overview:

We invite passionate Mathematics educators to express their interest in joining Dubai American Academy, with roles beginning in August 2026. This position offers a thrilling opportunity for Middle School Mathematics teachers who are eager to foster curiosity, inspire achievement, and ensure the success of every student at DAA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive Mathematics lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to promote a love for Mathematics and enhance critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain consistency in the delivery of curriculum content.
• Adapt instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student development.

Successful candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree in a relevant subject area, along with a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or Level 5 equivalent specialization in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching Middle School Mathematics, preferably within an American/IB curriculum framework.
• A strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and practical Mathematics instruction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
