The Position
ADNOC Schools is on the lookout for exceptional Mathematics Teachers for Middle and High School to begin in August 2025. This opportunity is situated at ADNOC School - Abu Dhabi Campus.

Responsibilities:
• Create an effective learning environment that fosters outstanding educational practices
• Establish clear objectives for teaching and learning
• Design tasks that engage students and spark their interest
• Set high and appropriate expectations for students
• Develop clear targets that build on students' previous achievements
• Recognize students with special educational needs or those who are particularly gifted, ensuring their needs are met through tailored approaches
• Provide structured lesson plans that maintain pace, motivation, and challenge
• Utilize assessment effectively to enhance learning
• Leverage performance data and key indicators to inform lesson planning and deliver differentiated instruction
• Uphold discipline according to the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’ while promoting punctuality, behavior, work standards, and homework completion
• Employ diverse teaching strategies to:
i. Align approach with content, organize information, present key ideas, and utilize suitable vocabulary
ii. Implement effective questioning, actively listen to students, and address errors and misconceptions
iii. Choose appropriate learning resources and foster study skills through the library, ICT, and other educational technologies
• Evaluate the achievement of learning objectives and utilize insights to enhance specific teaching aspects
• Provide feedback on student work bi-weekly and set progress targets
• Use performance data to inform planning, ensuring that Learning and Teaching continues to add value
• Systematically assess and record students' progress, maintaining records to monitor understanding and completion, identify strengths and areas for growth, inform planning, and recognize achievement levels
• Conduct assessments as required by examination bodies, departmental, and school protocols
• Prepare and deliver informative reports to parents
• Participate in subject development by creating, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
• Stay current with subject knowledge through continuous professional development and professional reading
• Attend relevant professional development workshops
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal as necessary.

You must be a fully qualified teacher with:
• A passion for education and a caring approach
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the relevant area
• Familiarity with the American curriculum
• A commitment to a comprehensive enrichment program
• Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
• Respect for all members of the school community
• Experience with students for whom English is an additional language
• A positive, solution-oriented attitude towards work
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check
