Literacy Coach

Yas School is seeking an energetic Literacy Coach to join our team beginning in August 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year, with the possibility of an earlier start.

At Yas School, we implement the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum, focusing on inclusive education, enrichment, and equipping learners for future challenges. Founded in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government institution, serving over 1,750 boys and girls on our spacious campus.

We are looking for a skilled educator with experience in either UK or US curricula, preferably with knowledge of the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.

Responsibilities

As a Literacy Coach, your duties will involve implementing targeted literacy strategies as per the literacy improvement plan. This includes coaching and supporting specific teachers, participating in team teaching, leading student intervention programs, and developing effective instructional plans and resources.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education
• A Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is advantageous
• Proficiency in English, demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or its equivalent
• Bilingual skills in English and Arabic are highly regarded
• A UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or currently pursuing it
• At least 4 years of classroom teaching experience in either English or Arabic subject areas
• Previous coaching experience is a plus
