Kindergarten English Teacher
About This Role
Responsibilities
•
Teach English to kindergarten students in accordance with the standards of the International Program.
•
Design curriculum, develop lesson plans, and prepare teaching materials for classroom activities.
•
Adapt teaching strategies, learning methods, and educational resources to meet the varied needs and interests of students.
•
Assess student performance, monitor academic progress, and provide constructive feedback.
•
Establish classroom expectations and evaluate student performance, behavior, social development, and well-being.
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and address any behavioral or academic issues.
•
Create and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra assistance.
•
Engage in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
•
Plan and participate in extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic competitions.
•
Complete various professional duties as assigned by the Program Manager/Principal.
Position requirements
Qualifications:
•
A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education, Foundation Phase, or a related field.
Experience:
•
At least 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with early years students or in an international/bilingual educational setting.
•
Experience in a bilingual educational environment is desirable.
