ADNOC Schools is on the lookout for an exceptional KG Classroom Teacher to commence in August 2025. This position is available at ADNOC School - Ruwais Campus.

Responsibilities:

- Delivering structured lessons that maintain a brisk pace, motivation, and challenge
- Effectively utilizing assessment for learning
- Applying performance data and key indicators to guide lesson planning and provide differentiated instruction
- Upholding discipline in line with the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’ and promoting positive practices regarding punctuality, behavior, academic standards, and homework
- Employing a range of teaching strategies to:
- Align methods with content, organize information, present key ideas, and use appropriate terminology
- Implement effective questioning, actively listen to students, and address errors and misconceptions
- Choose suitable learning resources and promote study skills through the library, I.C.T., and other educational technologies
- Evaluating the achievement of learning objectives and using this information to enhance specific teaching aspects
- Grading students’ work at least biweekly and setting targets for improvement
- Utilizing performance data to inform planning, ensuring that learning and teaching continue to add value
- Systematically assessing and recording students' progress, maintaining records to confirm comprehension and completion, monitoring strengths and areas for improvement, informing planning, and recognizing achievement levels
- Conducting assessments as required by examination bodies and school protocols
- Preparing and delivering informative reports to parents
- Participating in subject development through the creation, review, and updating of curriculum plans and schemes of work
- Keeping subject knowledge current through continuous professional development and professional reading
- Attending relevant professional development workshops
- Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A passion for education and a caring approach
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field with a PGCE or another teaching qualification, alongside a minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in the relevant area
- Familiarity with the American curriculum
- A commitment to a comprehensive enrichment program
- Recent and ongoing participation in extracurricular activities
