ADNOC Schools is on the lookout for exceptional KG Classroom Teachers. The available position is located at ADNOC School - Abu Dhabi Campus, starting in August 2025.

Responsibilities:
- Foster a learning environment conducive to exceptional practice
- Establish clear teaching and learning objectives
- Design tasks that challenge students while maintaining high levels of engagement
- Set ambitious and appropriate expectations
- Define clear targets that build on prior knowledge
- Identify students with special educational needs or exceptional abilities and ensure their needs are met through tailored instruction
- Structure lessons effectively to sustain pace, motivation, and challenge
- Utilize assessments to enhance learning outcomes
- Leverage performance data and key indicators to inform lesson planning and deliver differentiated instruction
- Uphold discipline in line with the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’ and promote good practices regarding punctuality, behavior, work standards, and homework
- Employ diverse teaching strategies to:
- Tailor approaches to content, organize information, present key ideas, and use appropriate vocabulary
- Utilize effective questioning, listen attentively to students, and address errors and misconceptions
- Choose suitable learning resources and develop study skills through the library, ICT, and other educational technologies
- Evaluate student achievement of learning objectives and utilize findings to enhance specific teaching aspects
- Grade student work at least bi-weekly and set progress targets
- Use performance data to inform planning, ensuring that learning and teaching continue to provide value
- Systematically assess and record student progress, maintaining records to track understanding and completion, monitor strengths and areas for improvement, inform planning, and acknowledge student achievement levels
- Conduct assessments as required by examination bodies and school procedures
- Prepare and deliver informative reports to parents
- Contribute to subject development by creating, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
- Stay current with subject knowledge through ongoing professional development and reading
- Participate in appropriate professional development workshops
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal as needed.
Qualifications:
- You must be a fully qualified teacher with:
- A passion for and dedication to education
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field, along with a PGCE or other teaching qualification and at least 2 years of teaching experience in the relevant area
- Familiarity with the American curriculum
- A commitment to a comprehensive enrichment program
- Recent and active participation in extracurricular activities
- Respect for all members of the school community
- Experience with students for whom English is an additional language
- A positive and solution-oriented attitude towards work
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
