ROLE SUMMARY:
St. Peter’s International School, located in Palmela near Lisbon, serves around 1,500 students ranging from 4 months to 18 years within a modern 37,000 m² campus. The school offers a bilingual curriculum (Portuguese/English), Cambridge programs, and the International Baccalaureate, along with boarding options for older students. We are seeking a passionate and highly qualified IB English B Teacher to implement the IB English B curriculum starting in August for the next academic year. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and deliver engaging, customized lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
•
Utilize creative teaching methodologies, incorporating inquiry-based learning and digital tools.
•
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
•
Participate in curriculum development and integrate technology to enrich learning experiences.
•
Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere while promoting student well-being.
•
Collaborate with colleagues and engage in school events and extracurricular activities.
•
Pursue continual professional development and comply with safeguarding policies.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A degree in English, Education, or a related discipline (teaching qualification preferred).
•
Experience teaching IB English B (or comparable international curricula).
•
A dedication to inspiring students and supporting both academic and personal growth.
•
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
•
Experience in an international or multicultural environment (preferred).
•
Strong command of English and a commitment to student welfare.
