About This Role
The Montreal Lake Cree Nation Education Department is seeking applications for the position of High School Teacher for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year at Senator Allan Bird Memorial School. This school is situated 110 km north of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and serves approximately 450 students. Limited teacherages are available, subject to availability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Carrying out responsibilities related to classroom instruction.
• Overseeing students and engaging in extra-curricular programs.
• Creating stimulating lesson plans and interactive learning resources that meet Saskatchewan curriculum guidelines.
• Utilizing a variety of teaching methods to address the individual needs of students.
• Following the STF's Code of Conduct, implementing appropriate disciplinary measures, and communicating with parents as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Bachelor of Education degree (essential).
• A valid Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate (essential).
• Proficient classroom management skills.
• Capability to instruct students across different skill levels.
• A clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
SALARY:
In line with the current provincial salary grid (www.stf.sk.ca).
