Aldar Education is actively looking for exceptional Elementary Classroom Teachers to begin immediately. This opportunity is available at ADNOC School - Abu Dhabi Campus.

Responsibilities:
• Foster a learning environment that promotes exceptional educational practices
• Establish clear teaching and learning objectives
• Design tasks that engage students and maintain high levels of interest
• Set challenging and appropriate expectations
• Create clear targets that build upon students' prior achievements
• Recognize students with special educational needs or exceptional abilities, ensuring their requirements are met through tailored instruction
• Structure lessons effectively to sustain pace, motivation, and challenge
• Utilize assessment for learning effectively
• Leverage performance data and key indicators to inform lesson planning and deliver differentiated instruction
• Uphold discipline in line with the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’ while promoting punctuality, behavior standards, and homework completion
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies to:
i. Align methods with content, organize information, present key ideas, and use suitable vocabulary
ii. Engage in effective questioning, actively listen to students, and address errors and misconceptions
iii. Choose appropriate learning resources and enhance study skills through the library, ICT, and other learning technologies
• Evaluate the achievement of learning objectives and utilize this information to refine specific teaching aspects
• Grade student work at least bi-weekly and establish targets for improvement
• Use performance data to guide planning, ensuring Learning and Teaching continually ‘adds value’
• Systematically assess and record student progress, maintaining records to verify understanding and completion, identifying strengths and areas for growth, guiding planning, and recognizing students' achievement levels
• Conduct assessments as required by examination bodies and adhere to departmental and school procedures
• Prepare and deliver informative reports to parents
• Participate in subject development through the creation, review, and updating of curriculum plans and schemes of work
• Keep subject knowledge current through continuous professional development and professional reading
• Attend professional development workshops as needed
• Take on additional responsibilities as directed by the Principal or Vice Principal when necessary.
You must be a fully qualified teacher with:
• A passion for education and a caring approach
• A Bachelor in Education or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a PGCE or another teaching qualification, alongside a minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience
• Familiarity with the American curriculum
• A dedication to a comprehensive enrichment program
• Recent and ongoing involvement in extracurricular activities
• Respect for all members of the school community
• Experience working with students for whom English is an additional language
• A positive, solution-oriented attitude towards work
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check
