Classroom Teacher - Substitute

THE POST

ADNOC Schools is in search of a Temporary Classroom Teacher for a short-term placement from November to December 2024. This position is available at ADNOC School, Ruwais Campus, situated in the Western Region (Al Dhafra) of Abu Dhabi.

ADNOC Schools follow the Massachusetts State Curriculum and are equipped with exceptional facilities in both Abu Dhabi City and the Western Region of the Abu Dhabi Emirate. The Massachusetts Curriculum is recognized as one of the most esteemed and effective educational frameworks in the United States, establishing strong connections with esteemed higher education institutions such as Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Students graduating from ADNOC Schools earn the American High School Diploma, which serves as the standard qualification for admission to US colleges and universities.

You must be a fully qualified teacher with:

· A Bachelor's Degree in Education or Primary Education
· At least two years of postgraduate teaching experience
· A passion for teaching and a commitment to holistic education
· Recent and consistent participation in extracurricular activities
· Respect for all members of the school community
· Experience working with students for whom English is an additional language
· A positive, solution-oriented approach to professional life
· A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check
· Preferably available locally
