Students, colleagues, parents, along with the school Principal, Heads of School, and the Senior Leadership team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Delivering knowledge, insights, and skills in their entirety to the students they teach.
- Demonstrating through their actions and teaching the highest regard for truth, justice, equal opportunity, human rights, kindness, and compassion.
- Engaging and motivating students to exceed their own expectations and previous limitations.
- Employing strong subject matter expertise, teaching methods, and interpersonal skills to spark students' enthusiasm for learning.
- Fully utilizing ICT and emerging technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning for students of all ages and abilities.
- Crafting lessons that take into account individual learning needs, styles, preferences, and capabilities of students.
- Encouraging every student to develop into effective, confident, and independent lifelong learners.
- Building strong professional relationships with colleagues by contributing to the continuous improvement of the school.
- Planning and implementing a variety of learning opportunities and activities to enrich and enhance the curriculum.
- Collaborating with colleagues to establish consistent and equitable disciplinary practices in the classroom, throughout the school, and during school trips, while actively protecting students from any form of abuse, including bullying and corporal punishment.
- Maintaining regular and professional communication with parents regarding their child's attainment and progress.
- Upholding high levels of confidentiality when interacting with parents and external parties.
- Demonstrating academic integrity in all practices.
- Actively engaging in department discussions during meetings.
- Assisting in the planning and contribution to after-school activities as necessary.
- Supporting the school's community partnerships, including participation in school/community events that may take place on weekends or evenings, such as school concerts.
- Performing any additional duties relevant to the role, as reasonably requested by management.
