About This Role

Who We Are & What We Do

The Swiss International Scientific School in Dubai (SISD) is a distinguished international day and boarding school dedicated to nurturing confident, curious, and empathetic lifelong learners. Located in the bustling heart of Dubai, our mission is to equip students with the vital knowledge, skills, and values needed to thrive in a continuously changing global environment.

Global Curriculum

At SISD, we follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework from Pre-Kindergarten (PreKG) through Grade 12 and introduce the Swiss Baccalaureate program beginning in Grade 6. We take pride in being an IB Continuum World School, authorized to deliver the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), IB Diploma Programme (DP), and the IB Career-related Programme (CP).

We are also proudly affiliated with Nord Anglia Education, the Council of International Schools (CIS), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and the European Council of International Schools (ECIS).

Multilingual Education That Opens Doors

SISD offers three unique streams aimed at promoting international-mindedness, enhancing skills, and facilitating the knowledge acquisition essential for engaging with diverse cultures:

  • IB Bilingual English/French (with Arabic)
  • IB Bilingual English/German (with Arabic)
  • IB with additional languages (French/German with Arabic) alongside a tailored STEAM program from PreKG to Grade 5.

Committed to Safeguarding

At SISD, we prioritize the safety and wellbeing of all students and staff, fostering an environment where everyone can flourish and learn. Our recruitment practices align with Keeping Children Safe in Education and the International Task Force on Child Protection. All hires are subject to interviews and extensive vetting processes, which include identity verification, online social media assessments, criminal record checks from the country of residence/home country and any other residing country, confirmation of the right to work in the UAE, as well as Barring & Prohibition checks.
