The Art Teacher will play a pivotal role in providing a vibrant and comprehensive art education program, leveraging state-of-the-art facilities and industry partnerships to enhance student learning. The curriculum will encompass essential areas such as fine arts (drawing, painting, and sculpture), digital and media arts (graphic design, photography, and animation), contemporary and experimental art (mixed media and installation), and illustration and visual storytelling (comic art and concept design). Skills

Person specifications:

• Possess a BEd or Bachelor's degree with PGCE / PGDE or an equivalent qualification

• A Master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred

• Have proven experience teaching Art to KS4/KS5 or equivalent

• Be open to collaboration and sharing best practices

• Demonstrate a growth mindset, characterized by reflection and solutions-focused thinking

• Exhibit creativity and enthusiasm in their teaching style

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with colleagues, students, and parents
