About This Role

Coruña British International School stands out as a prominent British international institution, being the first in the city to achieve accreditation from NABSS (National Association for British Schools in Spain). The curriculum is fully endorsed by both the Galician Government and the British Council, positioning it, along with its sister institution in Vigo, among the leading British schools in the Galicia region. Established over eight years ago, this forward-thinking school, grounded in strong family principles, has successfully provided the English National Curriculum to numerous students, adapting to the evolving needs of contemporary learners. The school caters to students aged three to fourteen, who engage with the National English Early Years Framework and the English National Curriculum.

As a proud member of Globeducate British International Schools, a newly formed cluster within the Globeducate family established in 2021, the school unites nine institutions throughout Europe. Currently, Globeducate encompasses more than 60 schools across 12 countries, serving over 40,000 students daily.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Business and Global Perspectives Teacher:

REQUIREMENTS


A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Global Studies, International Relations, or a closely related discipline.


Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an internationally recognized teaching qualification appropriate for post-16 education.


Demonstrated experience in teaching A-Level Business and/or Global Perspectives, preferably in a British or international educational setting.


Proficiency in delivering high-quality, inquiry-based learning that fosters critical thinking, research capabilities, and global awareness.


Experience in mentoring students through independent research projects, case studies, and comprehensive written assignments.


Strong commitment to safeguarding, child welfare, and adherence to school policies and legal requirements.


Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and families.


Capacity to cultivate an engaging and academically challenging classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and a global perspective.
