RAK Academy AL Hamra:
Situated in the southern region of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is an expanding primary and lower secondary institution that implements an adapted UK National Curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 8 in conjunction with UAE MOE subjects. Our newly established secondary school, catering to Grades 6 to 8, will welcome its first cohort in August 2026. We are accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO) and benchmarked against top international British schools, enabling us to provide full ECT induction for teachers.
The Role:
We are in search of a motivated, positive, and inspiring Islamic B teacher to join our thriving Islamic department in the secondary school.
Essential Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Familiarity with the Ministry of Education curriculum for Islamic B.
• Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning practices.
• High proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Ability to engage, inspire, and support students.
• Reflective practitioner with creative thinking and innovative approaches.
• A positive, enthusiastic team member with a growth mindset.
• Willingness to actively participate in extra-curricular activities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses (Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply).
Desirable Qualifications:
• Training in the UK Curriculum or International Baccalaureate.
• Experience with Google Suite, including Google Classroom.
• A proven track record of improving student outcomes.
