RAK Academy - Al Hamra

Situated in the southern part of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is an expanding primary and lower secondary institution that implements an adapted UK National Curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 8, alongside UAE MOE subjects. Our new secondary school will welcome its first students in Grades 6 to 8 in August 2026. We hold accreditation from the British Schools Overseas (BSO), aligning us with top-tier international British schools, and we are fully equipped to deliver the ECT induction for teachers.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) to join our team at RAK Academy Khuzam School. This pivotal position serves as the initial point of contact for visitors, parents, staff, and students. As the public face of the school, the CLO should be friendly, approachable, and professional, effectively representing the school. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks, a flexible mindset, and a proactive attitude, as it involves managing administrative duties while prioritizing customer service. Collaboration with marketing, sales, admissions, and administrative teams is essential, along with the capacity to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities


Functional Responsibilities


Act as the primary contact for visitors to the school, providing a warm welcome to parents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.


Offer robust support to parents in seeking solutions and actively assist the sales and enrollment team to foster school growth through successful enrollments.


Efficiently handle all forms of communication, including phone, in-person, online, and email, ensuring timely and effective responses to customer inquiries.


Adhere to safeguarding protocols by issuing visitor passes and lanyards, ensuring visitors are signed in, and verifying necessary information.


Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, ensuring that promotional materials and forms are current and adequately stocked.


Encourage parents to give feedback, maintaining high service levels, and addressing issues or concerns positively, seeking assistance from the line manager as needed.


Compile attendance registers and monitor absences, promptly contacting parents of absent students.


Assist in the school’s administrative operations by collaborating closely with administration assistants, sales/enrollment, and marketing team members.


Proactively participate in school tours and marketing initiatives, focusing on enhancing school growth and customer satisfaction.


Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all Academy and School policies and procedures, especially regarding child protection, equal opportunities, health and safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection, promptly reporting any concerns and upholding relevant codes of conduct.


Establish high standards of behavior while serving as a positive role model for others.
