About the Role

In your role as an Art Teacher at Dallington School, you will engage students with creative, structured lessons that adhere to the British curriculum. Your aim will be to foster students' artistic expression, build their confidence, and enhance their technical skills while laying a solid foundation in drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and visual analysis.

Experience in supporting or preparing students for the IGCSE Art & Design is essential, as we aim to facilitate a smooth transition from KS3 to exam-level coursework.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related discipline
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) preferred
• At least 3 years of experience teaching Art within the British curriculum
• Strong understanding of Art teaching methodologies for KS2, KS3, and KS4
• Experience in delivering or preparing students for the IGCSE Art & Design curriculum
• Ability to create inspiring, hands-on lessons and high-quality visual arts projects
• Effective classroom management and outstanding communication abilities
• Proficiency in utilizing educational technology to enhance learning and manage digital portfolios
• Native-level English proficiency
