Position: Secondary School Biology/Chemistry Teacher
We are on the lookout for a well-qualified Secondary School Science Teacher to join our team at St Michael's School, focusing on instructing Biology and Chemistry. The ideal candidate will have prior experience teaching high school-level Biology and Chemistry, along with a comprehensive understanding of Common Core curriculum standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related area
- At least 3 years of experience teaching high school science
- In-depth knowledge of Common Core curriculum standards
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans tailored to the diverse needs of students
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in integrating technology into classroom instruction
- Collaborates effectively with colleagues
- Outstanding organizational skills
- A background history screening will be conducted as part of the hiring process
