Established in 2021, Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) is a joint venture between the Hong Kong Xinyi Group and the Pui Kiu Education Foundation. It is recognized as the first international boarding school in Mainland China to seamlessly integrate both the National Compulsory Education Curriculum and the Hong Kong Curriculum, and it uniquely provides a continuous 16-year education program designed specifically for Hong Kong students.

Situated in the Longhua District of Shenzhen, close to the Shenzhen North Railway Station, the school covers approximately 45,000 square meters, with a total constructed area nearing 180,000 square meters. This prime location ensures excellent accessibility, with just a 19-minute journey to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and 21 minutes to Futian Port using high-speed rail and Shenzhen Metro Line 4, making daily travel between Shenzhen and Hong Kong both feasible and efficient.

Curriculum and Accreditation

PKXYS boasts a broad and inclusive curriculum, which includes:

• The Mainland Chinese Middle School Curriculum
• The Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE)
• International Curricula: IGCSE, A-Level, and NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)

Job Description

Teaching Responsibilities

• Develop and submit semester teaching plans and establish clear instructional goals.
• Conduct all classes in English, ensuring academic rigor and student engagement.

Communication Responsibilities

• Attend departmental and staff meetings.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on students’ academic achievements.

Support Responsibilities

• Participate in school management activities, supervision duties, and promotional events as necessary.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a relevant field. (Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree and a recognized teaching qualification.)
• At least five years of teaching experience in IGCSE, A-Level, HKDSE, or other recognized international curricula. (Candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in education-related disciplines require a minimum of two years of teaching experience.)
• A strong understanding of the UK/western higher education systems and the academic.
