Year 1-2 Class Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic teacher to join our junior school two days a week (Thursday-Friday), with the potential for additional relieving opportunities. This is for a job share in a Year 1-2 class.

We are looking for:

• a caring, collaborative, and curious experienced teacher who strives for excellence in their teaching and learning practice


• strong foundational knowledge in reading, writing, mathematics, and learning through play


• energy, enthusiasm, and sense of humour


• a commitment to the inclusive and pedagogical goals of our school


• positive and proactive communicator who is relationship focused and quick to connect with ākonga, staff, whānau, and especially their ‘teaching buddy’.
