Whole School Drama Teacher

Yas School is thrilled to present an opportunity for a passionate Whole School Drama Teacher to join our team beginning in August 2026 for the academic year 2026-2027, with the possibility of an earlier start.

At Yas School, we follow the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum, emphasizing inclusive education, enrichment, and preparing learners for future success. Founded in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government school, educating over 1750 boys and girls on our expansive grounds.

We are in search of an experienced educator, ideally with a background in UK or US curricula, and preferably familiar with the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.

In this role at Yas School, you will deliver engaging and impactful lessons that foster students’ academic success, personal growth, and overall wellbeing. You will play a vital role in empowering students to achieve their full potential, preparing them to thrive as global citizens while honoring and celebrating Emirati heritage and identity.

As a teacher, you will build strong relationships and maintain open lines of communication with parents, colleagues, and students to uphold high academic and behavioral standards consistent with the school’s values and policies. You will be committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every student is encouraged to excel.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the relevant subject area.
• A Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is beneficial.
• Proficiency in English, demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or an equivalent qualification.
• Bilingual skills (English & Arabic) are highly desirable.
• A UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
