Job Detail

We are currently seeking a Teacher of Science, with a preferred specialization in Biology, to join our effective Science Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside dedicated educators who prioritize student needs in their teaching.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and learning in the science domain.
  • Be equipped to teach all sciences at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Possess experience in delivering Biology instruction at the GCSE level.
  • Have familiarity with A Level Biology teaching or express a willingness to take on this responsibility (desirable).
  • Employ practical work, demonstrations, and a variety of innovative teaching techniques to engage and challenge students.
  • Stay informed about current scientific developments and effectively incorporate technology and digital tools to enhance the science learning experience.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the science curriculum and the development of departmental resources.
  • Provide outstanding teaching while maintaining a strong pastoral awareness.
  • Utilize data effectively to support student progress.
  • Hold a recognized degree in science along with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Exhibit a commitment to professional development and continual improvement.
