The Role:

The International School of Bergamo is seeking a Physical and Health Teacher to work with our Early Years and Primary students.

We are looking for an energetic educator, preferably with experience in the International Baccalaureate, who is ready to implement flexible teaching methods in a multicultural classroom with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in teaching at the primary level.
  • Passionate about learning and able to engage students at all levels.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards in all areas of the school’s operations.
  • Interested in applying a constructivist approach to education and enthusiastic about fostering international awareness.
  • Supportive and inspiring in promoting the holistic development of every child.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working with colleagues.

Candidate requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Holds an EU passport or has already obtained the right to work in Italy.
  • Experience or training in IB PYP is a plus but not required.
  • Proficient in ICT literacy skills.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
