At Nün Academy, we champion teamwork, creativity, and personal growth, forming a distinctive educational community. We are currently seeking an exceptional Teacher of Mathematics to join our expanding Secondary & Senior School. The ability to teach IB Diploma Economics would be a valuable asset.
Your role will involve:
•
Creating and delivering engaging, impactful Mathematics lessons for KS3, IGCSE, and IB Diploma (DP) levels, aligned with the Cambridge/UK/DP curriculum framework.
•
Improving students' fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills across all key mathematical domains—number, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus.
•
Preparing students for success in IGCSE Mathematics and IB Diploma Mathematics (Applications and Interpretation), as well as IB Diploma Economics.
•
Leveraging data and assessments to inform planning, differentiation, and personalized interventions, while providing clear and constructive feedback to students and their families.
•
Participating in co-curricular mathematics enrichment activities such as Olympiads, math clubs, or mentoring programs that encourage creativity and challenge.
•
Adhering to best practices in safeguarding, inclusion, and well-being, while promoting a culture of curiosity, respect, and academic excellence.
•
Collaborating within the Mathematics Department on curriculum mapping, vertical progression, assessment design, and resource development.
What we seek:
•
A degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field, along with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS or an international equivalent).
•
Demonstrated experience teaching within the Cambridge and/or UK curriculum, with successful outcomes at IGCSE level and ideally at IB Diploma level.
•
Experience with A-Level Mathematics will be considered advantageous.
•
Strong classroom management skills with inclusive strategies for multilingual learners and effective integration of digital tools.
•
