The Opportunity

We are seeking a Bilingual Physics Teacher to join our high school program at Hangzhou Foreign Languages School.

In this role, you will have the chance to:

  • Teach Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Physics in an international high school environment
  • Guide motivated, high-achieving students who are preparing for competitive university admissions

  • Contribute to an international curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, dialogue, and practical application of knowledge

About You

We are looking for a teacher who is:

  • Committed to international education and nurturing student development
  • Proficient in delivering Physics at both IGCSE and A-Level
  • Experienced in working with ambitious students in a high-achieving academic setting
  • Professional, adaptable, and committed to upholding high academic standards

You will possess:

  • The ability to engage and inspire top-performing students
  • A recognized teaching qualification (BEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • At least two years of full-time teaching experience at the high school level
  • Experience teaching physics in English
  • Strong subject knowledge relevant to the high school physics curriculum
  • Bilingual fluency in both Chinese and English
  • Experience with the A-Level curriculum (preferred)
