About This Role

Taaleem is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children. We adhere to rigorous standards of effective practices related to child protection and are dedicated to safeguarding children's welfare. We expect all staff members to share this commitment.

All selected candidates for positions must be ready to undergo thorough child protection screening appropriate for the role. This includes extensive background investigations, securing quality references, confirming relevant qualifications, verifying identification, and conducting police checks, including those from other countries. Employment cannot begin until these checks are finalized, typically taking around a month.

Harrow International School Dubai is seeking exceptional educators to become part of our founding team and contribute to our legacy.

As a member of our founding team, you will play a crucial role in creating a vibrant and inclusive community where each student's learning is at the heart of our daily activities. Guided by the values of Harrow, our staff will foster an environment that nurtures, challenges, and empowers every student to achieve their fullest potential.

All Harrow teachers (Beaks) will deliver outstanding instruction in their subject areas, fostering an atmosphere where each student is supported, motivated, and inspired to succeed. They will uphold the highest academic standards and embody the core Harrow values of courage, honour, humility, and fellowship. Beyond classroom duties, they will engage in the pastoral care of students within their House, participate in a variety of co-curricular activities, and enrich the overall life of the School. Through these efforts, they will maintain Harrow's traditions while creating an educational experience that reflects the aspirations of Harrow Dubai.

Who Are We Looking For?

Our Beaks exemplify the highest levels of professional and personal excellence. We are on the lookout for individuals who are not only outstanding educators but also mentors and role models, inspiring students to excel both academically and personally. At Harrow Dubai, teachers are vital in shaping confident, compassionate young individuals, fully participating in the intellectual, pastoral, and co-curricular life of the School.

We seek educators who blend intellectual rigor with a genuine passion for engaging with young people.

For us, teaching is more than just a job; it is a calling, and we welcome colleagues who see their role as both a privilege and a responsibility.

We value teachers who approach their work with enthusiasm, integrity, and humility, embodying the values of Courage, Honour, Humility, and Fellowship in all their interactions.

A Harrow teacher meets challenges with resilience and creativity, adapting to a dynamic global landscape.

Our Beaks work closely with colleagues, students, and families to create an environment where every child can flourish, successfully challenging the most capable learners while supporting those who need additional assistance.

Outside the classroom, they actively participate in co-curricular activities, pastoral care, and the broader school community, understanding that a Harrow education is characterized by both breadth and depth, extending its influence beyond academic success.

What Unique Attributes Can You Bring?

At Harrow, we seek educators who contribute beyond academic excellence. We value individuals who enhance our students' educational experiences through their diverse talents and passions. Whether you are a pianist, ballet instructor, rugby enthusiast, or possess another unique skill, we appreciate those who inspire creativity, nurture character, and develop our students' abilities beyond the classroom.

We encourage applicants to share the distinctive qualities they can bring to our esteemed and well-rounded school community. At Harrow, we value teachers who extend learning beyond traditional boundaries, inspiring curiosity, fostering a love of knowledge, and broadening our pupils' experiences through music, sports, the arts, or other exceptional pursuits.
