Christian Alliance International School (CAIS) is on the lookout for committed and passionate Christian educators to be part of our mission to guide the next generation in making a positive impact on society while honoring God.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a strong understanding of curriculum and effective teaching methods to create outstanding learning experiences for our students within a genuine Christian framework.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with other educators to create and execute a thorough instructional program that meets established curricular goals and school objectives.
• Teach students across different proficiency levels in the Spanish language.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by senior leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or an equivalent teaching qualification, including a minimum of 10 weeks of practicum experience.
• Teacher education/training that is recognized by Alberta Education.
• Previous experience in teaching Spanish is highly advantageous.
• Proven proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish.
• Strong command of both spoken and written English is essential.
• While not required, please highlight any experience with IB or AP programs.
• Preference will be given to candidates who share the values of Christian education.

Effective Date of Employment:

The expected start date for this role is mid-August 2026. The initial contract is generally for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal based on mutual agreement.
