Bloom World Academy opened its doors in August 2022, catering to students aged three to 18 years. The school has achieved remarkable success by challenging the norm and innovating in Dubai to benefit learners, families, and educators alike.

Every aspect of the educational experience at Bloom World Academy has been thoughtfully examined—our methods, the reasoning behind them, and their impact. This meticulous approach has resulted in several pioneering initiatives for the UAE. BWA is the first school in the UAE to begin its day at 9am; the first institution allowing students and their families to customize their timetables (learning pathways); and a school where each student possesses a Learning Achievement Passport (LAP) that tracks performance and progress, shared with students and families multiple times a year.

Spanish Teacher - the Position

Bloom World Academy is in search of imaginative and skilled educators for the position of Spanish Teacher.

As an IB educator, you should demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering international mindedness in your classroom and support its development throughout the school. A solid background in or knowledge of a student-centered inquiry-based learning approach is essential. Candidates must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships, and exhibit strong written and verbal communication abilities.

We are interested in experienced teachers who are passionate about helping every child thrive and creating a classroom environment conducive to success for all. You will be equipped to teach students of varying abilities and have a proven history of achieving outstanding student outcomes.

Experience with the IB programme is highly desirable but not mandatory, as training will be provided. As a practitioner, you should have expertise in designing engaging and challenging learning experiences, a strong grasp of assessment and its application in the classroom, and, most importantly, a passion for motivating students to reach their full potential and beyond.

Required Candidate Profile

- Proficient/advanced-level English language skills
- Proficient/advanced-level Spanish language skills
- Bachelor’s degree or similar, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
- A minimum of three years’ experience teaching in a reputable school
- A track record of outstanding student results
- Experience in teaching the International Baccalaureate is preferred (professional training is provided)
- Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
- Inter-cultural awareness, well-developed communication skills, and eagerness to engage with students and parents
