SEN Teaching Assistant

Yas School is seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, beginning in August 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year, or earlier if possible.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant at Yas School, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality education and care to students with determination, creating a safe and inclusive environment where every student can achieve their potential.

You will play a key role in helping students thrive as capable global citizens while honoring and promoting the UAE’s heritage and Emirati identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring that both teachers and students of determination receive the necessary support to enhance their teaching and learning experience in a secure, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
• Implementing effective interventions to boost academic achievement and progress.

Ideal Candidate

• A Certificate IV in School-Based Education Support or a related field, or a Diploma in Education or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in English, demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or an equivalent qualification.
• Bilingual abilities (English & Arabic) are highly regarded.
• UAE Administrative Check and a non-offender clearance.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar Teaching Assistant role or a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
