Requirements and Experience:

Essential:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree relevant to the teaching subject or an equivalent qualification
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification
  • Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for Sociology that you are eager to share with students
  • Experience in teaching GCSE and A Level
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, although new teachers aspiring to excel will be considered
  • Ability to deliver consistently inspirational lessons with a track record of outstanding results
  • Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to recent professional development relevant to this role
  • Innovative ideas to enhance the department's profile within the school
  • Proficient ICT skills that reflect the integration of technology in contemporary classrooms
  • Commitment to the extracurricular program
  • Dedication to the well-being and pastoral care of all students
  • An innovative, creative, and positive mindset

Desirable:

  • Experience working abroad or with international students
