About This Role

Arcadia Global School in Dubai is looking to hire a committed and skilled Secondary Food Technology Teacher to begin in August 2025. The selected individual will collaborate with an experienced team to advance the school's strategic vision and will be capable of teaching across all secondary Key Stages.

Requirements:

- Hold a valid teaching qualification such as BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience within a high-quality department.
- Demonstrable ability to teach up to GCSE/IGCSE levels with a record of successful performance outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in delivering and contributing to the curriculum.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
- Exceptional practitioners capable of delivering innovative lessons based on current pedagogical principles and forward-thinking initiatives.
- A collaborative professional, working effectively within the immediate team and across the broader school community.

- Employ various teaching methods that stimulate learning and align with curriculum demands, ensuring that all students' needs are addressed through scaffolding and objectives.
- Uphold discipline in line with school policies, promoting positive practices regarding punctuality, behavior, and work standards.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of the subject's strategic action plan.
- Ensure effective monitoring and communication with parents about academic progress, adhering to school reporting procedures and addressing specific concerns as they arise.
- Adhere to the school's current policies and procedures.
- Prepare and update subject materials, including schemes of work.
