We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre at NORD ANGLIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, HONG KONG, set to open in August 2026, offering IBDP, A-Levels, and BTEC programmes.
We are searching for passionate Secondary Teachers for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 who are committed to facilitating student-centered learning and making a meaningful difference in their educational experiences.
Currently, we seek a SCIENCE TEACHER (CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY, PHYSICS) to join our Secondary team and elevate the standard of Science education across these subjects.

The role:
As a qualified Science Teacher, your duties will encompass:
• Initiating activities that boost student involvement and strengthen the school community.
• Supporting extracurricular activities and school events.
• Enhancing parent engagement through effective communication and progress reports.
• Delivering stimulating, inclusive, and impactful lessons.
• Fostering creativity, critical thinking, and design principles.
• Utilizing data-driven techniques to address diverse learning needs.
• Implementing digital tools to enhance the learning experience.
• Serving as a Form Tutor and participating in the IB curriculum.
• Developing and executing lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
• Conducting thorough assessments and providing timely feedback.
• Contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance efforts.
• Participating in ongoing professional development.
• Reflecting on teaching practices to improve effectiveness.
• Promoting school values and nurturing a positive school environment.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, along with a PGCE in a Science subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Teaching experience in a UK and/or international setting.
• Relevant Science training or equivalent qualifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• Understanding of student learning and development as it pertains to Science education.
• Awareness of contemporary educational trends in Science.
• Proven knowledge of broader educational developments.
• Experience in elevating academic standards for diverse student groups.
• Ability to design, implement, monitor, and assess lessons within the school curriculum.
• Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and relevant subject knowledge.
• Understanding of assessment and reporting protocols.
• Knowledge of IGCSE, A Level, and IB syllabi, including examination processes.
• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom to enhance student learning.
• A current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries of residence.
• Compliance with visa requirements for employment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, as well as a willingness to undertake relevant child protection training.
