About This Role
We are excited to share a new opportunity within the esteemed GEMS Founders brand in Dubai, set to commence in September 2024. The school will be situated in a new residential area in Dubai, offering a top-tier British curriculum at an accessible price point.
Starting in April 2024, we are looking to hire a skilled Secretary to the Principal. In this role, you will oversee all secretarial and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the Principal/Head of School's office. You will serve as a representative of the school and carry out your responsibilities in a professional, efficient, and confidential manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective communication from and within the Principal’s office, engaging with school staff, parents, and representatives from the GEMS Corporate Office with tact and diplomacy.
- Coordinate with all school secretaries regarding matters related to students, parents, faculty, and staff.
- Manage the Principal’s appointment schedule and handle all professional communications and public relations requirements.
- Assist in organizing school events, employing effective strategies to gain publicity for significant happenings to enhance the school’s positive image.
- Oversee personnel requirements, including contract writing, attendance and reporting, employee files, annual report preparation, and other necessary school documentation.
- Provide excellent reception and hospitality for visitors to the Principal and those wishing to communicate with him/her.
- Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate high standards of personal and professional integrity.
