About This Role
Adcote Matrix International School (AMIS), situated in Seremban, Malaysia, is a well-established international institution located about 45 minutes from the capital, Kuala Lumpur. Our curriculum is diverse and innovative, covering Early Years and Primary Cambridge International Curriculum along with IPC, as well as Secondary Cambridge curriculum, IGCSE, and A Level, which is based on a blend of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge International Curriculum, and the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who can guide students in reaching their full potential in English, mathematics, and science, while also supporting their growth in other subjects included in the primary curriculum. Our goal is for students to graduate from AMIS as confident, independent learners who can articulate their thoughts effectively.
We seek someone with a forward-thinking and creative approach to teaching, equipped with the skills and vision needed to enhance learning and instruction at AMIS for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. A commitment to fostering our students' potential and addressing their well-being and pastoral requirements is essential.
We are looking for professionals who:
• Hold UK training or an equivalent qualification (PGCE or QTS) and possess relevant experience with the Cambridge International curriculum and the National Curriculum for England and Wales;
• Are open to newly qualified teachers as well as those with teaching experience;
• Have current knowledge of the Cambridge International curriculum and the IPC;
• Can provide a balanced, broad, and differentiated curriculum for their students;
• Deliver well-structured, engaging, and challenging learning experiences;
• Maintain high expectations for learners, providing appropriate inspiration and challenges;
• Contribute to a well-organized and motivating learning atmosphere;
• Have experience with integrating technology into teaching and learning;
• Embrace a growth mindset in all aspects of school life;
• Demonstrate passion and a willingness to go the extra mile for the school community.
