Launching in the fall of 2026, BASIS Bilingual School Beijing will bring our distinguished curriculum to China’s capital. Initially catering to grades Kindergarten through 9, the school will transition to a full Pre-K through Grade 12 institution, accommodating up to 2,300 students and offering boarding for 800 students. Located on the north side of Anfu Street in Houshayu, Shunyi District, Beijing, the school is situated in a key new urban development area, making it a hub for international education and an attractive destination for foreign educators. At BASIS, we believe that authentic learning occurs through engaging challenges. Starting in middle school, our students embark on advanced coursework with high expectations, reinforcing their understanding of core subjects each year to prepare for honors and Advanced Placement classes starting in ninth grade.

As a Physics teacher, you will build upon this strong foundation, teaching topics such as Newtonian mechanics, work, energy, mechanical waves and sound, and introductory simple circuits. You will incorporate student-led labs to offer practical experience and deepen understanding.

Your duties will encompass:

• Supporting students in achieving academic success, personal accountability, and intellectual development

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in your subject area.
• Experience: At least two years as the lead teacher in a classroom, necessary for obtaining a work visa.
