About This Role
Due to an increase in student enrollment, Al Rabeeh Academy is looking for a dedicated, flexible, and passionate primary school teacher to start in January or immediately.
Al Rabeeh Academy, a modern, purpose-built institution, opened its doors in August 2017 and is part of a growing network of schools. Since 1979, the Al Rabeeh name has been associated with high standards in education and student care throughout the city. Our academy is affiliated with British Schools in the Middle East (BSME), offering fantastic opportunities for inter-school competitions, tournaments, and professional development.
As a bilingual private school serving students from FS1 to Year 13, Al Rabeeh Academy provides the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic language instruction. Ideal candidates will be committed team players, full of energy and enthusiasm, eager to contribute to the development of Al Rabeeh Academy, with potential for internal advancement as the institution expands.
Candidates must resonate with the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, which has a significant Arabic-speaking student population. The successful applicant will exhibit strong communication skills, confidently fostering open dialogue with students, staff, and parents. It is essential that applicants lead by example and actively engage in the Academy’s extracurricular activities.
Applicants must be fluent in English, possess a relevant degree and primary-level teaching qualification, and have at least 2 years of teaching experience in schools that follow the National Curriculum of England.
Candidates should be able to showcase:
• In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Familiarity with current UK educational initiatives and developments
• A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and leadership, believing that children can achieve their highest potential in the right environment
• The ability to support creative learning while focusing on developing innovative skills and 21st-century learning environments
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance and expand student learning experiences
• Experience in utilizing data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external evaluations to monitor student progress
• Experience teaching EAL students is preferred, but not mandatory
