Due to a rise in student enrollment, Al Rabeeh Academy is on the lookout for enthusiastic, flexible, and dedicated primary school teachers to start immediately.

Opened in August 2017, Al Rabeeh Academy is a beautifully designed school that is part of a growing network of educational institutions. Since 1979, the Al Rabeeh name has represented high-quality education and exceptional pastoral care within the city. Our school is also a member of the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME), which offers fantastic opportunities for inter-school competitions, tournaments, and continuous professional development.

As a bilingual private institution catering to students from FS1 to Year 13, Al Rabeeh Academy delivers the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic. We seek candidates who are highly committed team players, brimming with energy and passion to further the development of Al Rabeeh Academy, where there may be chances for internal advancement as the academy expands.

Candidates must align with the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, which serves a significant population of Arabic-speaking students. The ideal applicant will be an effective communicator, capable of fostering open channels of communication with students, staff, and parents. Leadership by example is essential, and candidates should actively participate in the Academy’s extracurricular activities program.

Applicants must be fluent in English, possess a relevant degree and primary level teaching qualification, and have at least 2 years of experience teaching in schools that implement the National Curriculum of England.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

• In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Familiarity with current UK educational initiatives and developments
• A strong commitment to excellence in learning, teaching, and educational leadership, with the belief that children can achieve their highest potential in the right environment
• The ability to support creative learning and focus on fostering 21st-century learning environments and innovative skills
• Confidence in utilizing IT to enhance and enrich students' learning experiences
• Experience in using data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external assessments to monitor student progress
• Experience teaching EAL students is preferred but not essential
