About This Role
Design, prepare, and deliver captivating Mathematics lessons that fulfill GCSE and IGCSE Level curriculum standards.
Employ a range of teaching methods, hands-on investigations, and technology to enrich the learning experience.
Create and execute assessments (both formative and summative) that track student progress and ready them for examinations.
Adapt teaching approaches to cater to a variety of learners, including those excelling and those requiring additional assistance.
Ensure that lessons comply with curriculum guidelines and examination board requirements.
Engage in internal standardization and moderation activities.
Keep precise student records, grades, and reports updated and maintained.
Implement school policies regarding discipline, attendance, and safeguarding.
Take part in departmental meetings, training opportunities, and school improvement efforts.
Remain informed about advancements in Mathematics, teaching strategies, and assessment methods.
Collaborate with fellow Mathematics Department colleagues to develop work plans and exchange best practices.
Get involved in extracurricular Math activities, including clubs, competitions, or field trips.
Support the overall progress and welfare of students while offering guidance on educational concerns.
Adhere to the GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct at all times.
