About This Role

Arcadia Global School in Dubai is seeking a dedicated and empathetic ELL Inclusion Teacher to join our team in January 2025. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the Inclusion team, providing essential support to ensure that students can fully engage in their educational journey.

Located in Al Furjan, Arcadia Global School is a newly established institution offering a high-quality British curriculum. Our goal is to become the preferred inclusive school for families in the Al Furjan community and beyond, where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), or a related discipline (Master’s degree is preferred).
- Fully qualified teacher holding a BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an ELL inclusion teacher.
- Experience working with ELL students in a variety of educational environments.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of British educational standards and regulations regarding inclusion.
- A strong commitment to enhancing educational standards in line with the school’s vision, mission, and values.
- A collaborative professional who works well within their team and across the broader school community.
- A passionate advocate for inclusive practices, dedicated to enriching opportunities for all learners.

Core Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with teachers to create and implement inclusive teaching strategies tailored for ELL students.
- Offer direct support and coaching to educators on effective practices for integrating ELL students into general classrooms.
- Assist in developing individualized learning plans (ILPs) for ELL students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to ELL students to facilitate additional assistance and intervention.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of ELL programs and strategies.
