About the School
The British Early Years International School (BEYC) is driven by our fundamental values of Play, Individuality, Environment, Resilience, Relationships, and Nurture, which guide all our endeavors.
Situated in Bangkok, we are a leading Reggio Emilia-inspired Early Years institution catering to children aged 2 to 6 years. We promote a child-centered, play-based, and nature-focused curriculum that integrates the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with the Reggio Emilia philosophy. This unique blend offers a wealth of teaching opportunities, ensuring that the child's voice remains at the forefront of our educational approach.
Our learning environment is crafted to support development both indoors and outdoors, equipped with thoughtfully selected sustainable toys and resources. We emphasize engaging, play-based lessons, incorporating hands-on activities for Phonics and Maths. Teachers are encouraged to customize their plans based on children's interests, maximizing opportunities for play, nature exploration, and independent learning. Our health-conscious initiative features a nutritious menu that accommodates all allergies and utilizes organic food and cleaning products.
What sets BEYC apart is our small class sizes and outstanding adult-to-child ratios. With a maximum of 16 children per teacher, supported by up to three Learning Assistants, we maintain an impressive 1:4 ratio. Our highly qualified Learning Assistants, many of whom have been with BEYC for years, provide consistency and strong collaboration in every classroom.
In September 2025, BEYC opened its new, purpose-built campus located near our original site. This facility has been thoughtfully designed to align with our Reggio Emilia and EYFS methodologies, featuring inspiring indoor and outdoor spaces that reflect our commitment to play, nature, and exploration.
