Director of Finance & Resources

• To lead on the day-to-day operational management of the business functions of the school.
• To lead on all aspects compliance including implementation and maintenance of policies, insurance, risk management and business continuity.
• To lead on the development of excellent financial planning and monitoring to ensure the school achieves value for money and the environment is safe and conducive to effective learning.
• To work with the Head Teacher and the Trustees as a member of the School Leadership Team (SLT) in order to secure a strong financial position for the school.
• Contribute positively and take responsibility as part of the SLT for strategic decision making within the school.
• Be an active and supportive member of the SLT and demonstrate the overall ethos and aims of the school.
• To deputise for the Head Teacher, when required.
• Be a presence at whole school events.
• To have oversight of the support staff team.
• Take the lead on the Finance and Resources Trustee Committee (FAR).
• Lead key support areas of the school including finance and accounting, HR, procurement, administration, premises management, catering and Health & Safety.
