About This Role

Due to a promotion, applications are invited for the position of deputy principal at Glendowie College.

This is a full-time, permanent position starting at the beginning of Term 3 2026 or at a mutually agreed date.

The Role

Glendowie College is a highly successful co-educational college with a student roll of 1,200 students. We have excellent academic results, an emphasis on pastoral care, and high levels of student engagement in co-curricular and service activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated leadership in your school at middle or senior leadership.
  • Build collaborative relationships with staff and students.
  • Develop current educational theory and best practice with our staff and students.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and reporting.
  • Understand school operations and pastoral requirements.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with a high functioning cohesive Senior Leadership Team.
  • Be visible and build connections with the school community.
