Deputy Head Teacher - Primary

The School of Research Science (SRS) is a prestigious BSO-approved international institution committed to providing outstanding education tailored to a diverse student population. We deliver both the British National and American Curriculum to a growing community of over 4,000 students, ranging from FS through Year 13, and culminating in qualifications such as GCSE, IGCSE, BTEC, and AS/A2.

We are looking to appoint a passionate, skilled, and proactive Primary Deputy Head Teacher for August 2026, with a focus on enhancing student achievement and personal development within our school. This role will also entail overseeing mathematics and other specified curriculum departments to uphold our exceptional educational standards.

The successful applicant will collaborate closely with the Senior Management team to ensure excellent outcomes for our students.

Candidate Responsibilities

• We require a highly effective leader to enhance teaching and learning, advance curriculum development, and improve overall standards throughout the Primary School.
• A comprehensive understanding and proven expertise in primary pedagogy, assessment, and curriculum coherence and sequencing are essential.
• These areas form the core responsibilities tied to leadership and management for this role.

Position Requirements

Education:

• PGCE, QTS, or/and any Leadership Certification

Experience:

• Three to four years of management/leadership experience in a similar environment.

Competencies & Skills:

• Familiarity with international accreditation, inspection, and evaluation frameworks
• Experience in child protection and health and safety protocols
• Capability in developing, planning, and delivering outstanding educational programs
• Strong relationship management skills with various stakeholders
• Demonstrate a high level of professional competence across all areas of responsibility
• Collaborative team player and strategic thinker
