Casual Minibus Driver

We are seeking a reliable, responsible and friendly Minibus Driver to join our dedicated team at our secondary school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and would like a flexible role within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting pupils to and from school activities, educational visits and other destinations as required.

The role is offered on a casual, term-time-only contract, with the school ideally looking for someone who can commit to working at least 10 hours per week. There may also be opportunities for additional hours depending on the needs of the school.

As a Minibus Driver, you will:

• Safely transport pupils and staff in accordance with school procedures.
• Carry out pre-use vehicle checks and report any faults or concerns promptly.
• Ensure the minibus is kept clean, safe and in good condition.
• Plan and follow appropriate routes and schedules.
• Support pupils in getting on and off the vehicle safely.
• Maintain a calm, professional and friendly manner when working with pupils.
• Ensure all journeys are carried out in line with relevant legislation and school safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children and young people.

Actual Salary: £13.07 – £13.27 per hour
Working hours: Casual Contract minimum of 10 hours per week – Term Time Only
