About This Role
Taylor's International School KL (TIS KL) is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Head of Science for our Secondary School.
Located near the heart of the city, TIS KL delivers quality education based on the English national curriculum, incorporating the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and IGCSE courses. Our diverse student body consists of around 1500 learners from over 40 nationalities, supported by a committed local staff and approximately 10% expatriate teachers. Our institution harmoniously blends the best of Eastern and Western educational practices. The TIS brand upholds a defined ethos and framework, ensuring a holistic educational experience across all our schools.
TIS KL is one of two campuses under Taylor’s International Schools (TIS) in Malaysia. Our schools embody the concept of neighborhood international curriculum institutions, combining a Western curriculum with Eastern values to provide an international education that emphasizes character development for all students.

About the position
TIS KL is a secondary school with a five to seven form entry, offering Science at KS3 and Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Combined Science at the CIE IGCSE level. Our IGCSE Science results are consistently impressive, with pass rates typically between A* to C around 90% and A*/A rates exceeding 60%. The Head of Science will oversee a dedicated team of eight teachers and two lab technicians.
Candidates are required to provide contact information for two referees, including one from your current or most recent Principal/Headteacher.
Applicants must possess a recognized teaching qualification and have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with international experience being highly preferred.
