Curriculum Overview
Doha British School adheres to the National Curriculum of England, tailored to resonate with Qatar’s cultural context, heritage, and values. At every educational stage, the DBS curriculum is crafted to be engaging, comprehensive, and demanding, integrating academic excellence with leadership, creativity, and global citizenship.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

A recognized educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
•
A validated teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS, along with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE should be backed by a subject-relevant bachelor’s degree).
•
Outstanding subject expertise, and considerable experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
•
Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) and IGCSE, AS/A Level curricula.
•
A proven history of providing exceptional teaching and learning experiences.
•
A strong desire to engage in the broader school community through extracurricular contributions.
