About This Role

NIST seeks a dynamic, passionate, and cooperative educator to join our Dutch team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the Elementary Programme along with a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education or its equivalent. This role offers a fantastic chance to be part of the NIST academic community, featuring a 45% teaching load and a competitive salary. Candidates with relevant experience may also have the opportunity for additional substitute teaching if desired.

Qualifications:

Teaching certification (B.Ed. or M.Ed., which is necessary in Thailand to secure a teaching license)


Experience in teaching Dutch and an additional qualification in the Dutch Language


Strong preference for candidates with a background in teaching elementary Dutch


Proficient in working independently as well as collaboratively within a team


Outstanding communication abilities

Professional Expectations:

Design and implement lessons utilizing a variety of teaching methods within a collaborative professional environment


Adopt an engaging and interactive approach to lesson delivery


Address individual student needs and differentiate instruction for diverse abilities


Exhibit an understanding of how to teach both receptive and productive text content


Participate in extra-curricular activities centered around language, literature, or culture


Enforce positive behavior strategies (ADD) and foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom atmosphere


Carry out responsibilities in alignment with the NIST Child Safeguarding Code of Conduct and the NIST Professional Code of Conduct
